Dutch Dreams Records presents ATHI - Pretty BumBum ft. Patoranking



Dutch Dreams Records signed artist, Athenkosi Zintle Mgoqo is a singer and song writer that goes by the name ATHI
She's not new in the industry, in 2013 she began to write her own music, her first original track was "Wall of Steel" and 2014 she wrote the song "Lost" which received positive reviews from producers and fellow up and coming musicians.
In 2015 Athi decided to take a break from music. Now in 2016, ATHI returns with her highly anticipated single titled "Pretty Bum Bum" featuring Nigeria's reggae dancehall king, Patotanking and produced byKiddominant.
She is cultivating and perfecting her craft and plans on releasing more singles later this year.

Buhari, Jonathan, Shonekan, others attend Council of State meeting; Obasanjo, IBB absent


President Buhari, his predecessor Goodluck Jonathan, former interim presidnt Ernest Shonekan and former military leade, Abdulsalami Abubakar, are presently attending the Council of State meeting holding at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

This is the second council of state meeting to be presided over by President Buhari. The first held in October last year.

Former leaders who were absent at the meeting include Olusegun Obasanjo, Ibrahim Babangida, Shehu Shagari, Yakubu Gowon.

Also absent as at the begging of the meeting were Senate President, Bukola Saraki and Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara. State governors who are present at the meeting include those of Abia, Sokoto, Kaduna, Lagos, Taraba, Kogi, Plateau, Jigawa, Yobe, Kebbi, Katsina, Rivers, Borno, Niger, Adamawa, Imo, Cross River, Benue, Bauchi, Enugu, Kwara.

Fatal Accident That Happened Today In Unubi, Anambra State (Graphic Photos)

This happened in Unubi, Anambra state, Sunday, August 2nd.

According to eye witness;
The guy name is Mmadubuike Ugochukwu,opposite boys sec.school, he is twins,he is riding okada, from umu umenobiz. He is a choir master and was probably returning from Church when he ran in security van at a sharp bending corner. Too bad!

This is really a bad news.





Four Boko Haram Militants Apprehended In Konduga During Governors Visit

At least four Boko Haram militants have been apprehended by members of the Civilian JTF in Borno village three days after the insurgents raided some nearby villages.



The terrorists were apprehended in Malari village at Konduga Local Government area of Borno state. The arrested Boko HAram members were presented to the state governor, Kashim Shettima while on a solidarity visit to the area. Gov. Shettima was in Malari village today to sympathize with villagers after Boko Haram attack on Monday killed 9 persons and displaced hundreds of civilians, however,the governor was surprised when suddenly some youths came down from a golf car and brought out 4 young men whose hands had been tied. A civilian JTF leader, Nuhu Kumshise, later told SaharaReporters that one of them has been a notorious terrorists who wreaked havoc on the villagers surrounding Konduga. ''We arrested them today after his father handed over them to us, then they led us into the bush where the two remaining guys hid themselves. '', Kumshise said. However, one the suspect confessed that he is members of the deadly group and he further mention the name of his leader. Another civilian JTF Bakura ‎ Yusuf said, ''long time before now we have been told that one of the arrestees that he is the leader who used to lead attacks on us." During his short visit, Gov. Shettima appealed to hundreds of displaced persons that camped‎ in Malari Primary school that buses will come to convey them to Konduga and foodstuffs as well as other materials will be provided immediately by the state government. It was gathered that 9 persons were killed and hundreds of people were rendered homeless on Monday when Boko Haram stormed five villages including Shettimari, Kammiri, Kakurami, Kalari Auwlari, Burari and Malari in Konduga local government area of the troubled northeastern state‎.

Indonesia executes 4 Nigerians, others for drug convictions



Indonesian authorities on Tuesday executed eight people, including four Nigerians, convicted for drug offenses.
The death row prisoners, whose pending execution drew condemnations around the world amid pleas for clemency, were killed by firing squad.
The execution of a ninth convict, a woman from the Philippines, was postponed at the last minute.
The Fillipino was spared after a woman accused of tricking her into carrying drug, handed herself to the police in Philippines Tuesday.
The four Nigerians included Martins Anderson, 50, who was charged with possession of heroin, and Okwudili Oyatanze, 41, also charged for smuggling heroin.
Jamiu Abashin, 50, was also executed for smuggling heroin, while Sylvester Nwolise, 42, was also executed for the same offence.
Other convicts who were executed were 34-year-old Australian, Myruan Sukumaran, 31 year-old Australian, Andrew Chan, charged for smuggling heroin, and 41 year-old Brazilian, Rodrigo Gularte, 42, who was convicted for smuggling cocaine.
Also executed was Zainal Abidin, a 50-year-old Indonesian, who was convicted for marijuana possession with intent to distribute.

Photos: Chaos in Onitsha after police man shoots driver dead


Yesterday, a policeman allegedly shot dead a 'Hero' beer truck driver during a road rage in Onitsha, Anambra state. According to eye-witnesses, the truck driver had parked his truck in a manner the policeman said was disturbing other road users. The policeman who was part of an escort van came down from his police vehicle, approached the truck and an argument ensued. For reasons best known to the police officer, he opened fire and shot dead the truck driver. 

This morning, an angry mob, including truck drivers and conductors came out in their numbers to protest the death of their colleague. They burnt tyres and blocked the gate leading to the company where the policeman worked. When the protest seemed to be getting out of hand, the army had to be called in and they came with an armored tank.

Robbery suspect burnt by mob in Abia


It was gathered that the gang of 12 robbers were raiding an apartment in the area when a member of the gang attempted to rape a woman but was resisted by her husband.

He ran out of luck when neighbours raised the alarm which attracted the attention of others who came to the rescue of the couple while the gang fled leaving behind the randy member.

A resident of the area who spoke on the condition of anonymity told said that while the suspect tried to escape, other members of the community seized and tied him up and later set him ablaze at the 7UP junction.

The source added the gang had been terrorizing residents of the area, raping women, dispossessing them of cash, mobile phones and other valuables.

The Abia State Police Public Relations Officer, (PPRO) Ezekiel Onyeke who confirmed the incident said that before policemen from the nearby Ohuru Isimiri Division could get to the scene, the villagers had already set the suspect robber ablaze.
