Prostitute Who Survived ‘Ghost Attack’ In Abia Brothel Speaks From Hospital

The alleged mysterious attack from ghosts or spirits suffered by some persons at a popular brothel in Umuahia, the Abia State capital, have continued to trail mixed reactions.
This is just as a commercial sex worker, Miss Chika Obi, who was one of the unconscious victims in the wake of the attack, regained consciousness, saying she did not know how she landed in the hospital.
It would be recalled that the body of a lady suspected to be a commercial sex worker, alongside the body of a man and some unconscious persons, was on Wednesday retrieved from the said brothel..
Speaking with New Telegraph, the survivor, who hails from Ozubulu in Ekwusigo Local Government Area of Anambra State, said “I have been residing in that hotel for over six months now doing my hustling business to survive. We pay a certain amount of money to the owner of the place. The owner is a fat woman.
“Honestly, I cannot remember what happened. All I can tell you is that I slept in my room as usual. I was alone that night because I did not get any client. Then I saw myself here in the hospital.
“I do not know if it is a spiritual attack or what. I cannot explain how so-called ghosts struck. I’m confused, I cannot even remember where my phone is. But we used a generator that night, when there was no electricity. The generator set was not very far from my room.
Meanwhile, the Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Nta Ogbonnaya stated that the police would go after the owner (a woman) of the brothel, adding that the Homicide section of the State Criminal Investigations Department, SCID, had begun investigation into the incident.

Actor Mr Ibu Reveals He Almost Committed Suicide Following Son’s Death

According to him, it was due to the negligence of the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH).
The actor made the revelation in an interview with PunchNG.
The matter was actually between the Paediatric Department of the Lagos University Teaching Hospital and me. It was in 2011. On January 18, 2011, my 2-year-old son fell ill. He was diagnosed with inflammation of the liver.
The hospital suggested that he should be scanned. At the same time, I was informed that I could take my son out of the hospital to get the scan done elsewhere. But the same people later declined, saying that everything had to be done in the hospital because he was too weak to be taken outside.”
“After a while, I was told that there was no electricity in the hospital. When I asked if there was no standby generator, they said there was no fuel in it. I offered to pay for fuel only to be told that the man that operated the generator was not around“, he continued, adding, “When I left the place and got back later, the man still had not returned. Then I was advised to write an application and to submit to the admin department. After writing the application, I found that there was nobody to receive and treat it.
While I was waiting, I was told that my son’s condition required blood transfusion. I did everything possible to ensure that the boy was given treatment at the hospital, but my efforts were in vain. Finally, the boy gave up the ghost.”
“Later, one of the doctors came to me and, without even sympathising with me, asked if I could release my boy’s corpse to him so that they could cut it open and use it to teach other medical students. In that moment, I felt like committing murder for the first time in my life.

Do this or your US visa renewal application will be denied

With regards to childbirth in the US, we have received many calls from US visa applicants that their US visa renewal applications were denied and they want to know how we can help them. So, here is what you need to know so you don’t get into this situation.
There are two main scenarios; the first is; applicants who apply for a US visa for the purpose of giving birth in the US but lie during the interview. Their response to the questions – Are you pregnant? Do you intend to give birth in the US? Is NO.

The second scenario is; applicants who do not pay for all their medical treatment in the US, but resort to the US medical insurance (MEDICAID).

It is very important to note that, contrary to the thoughts of many, the US embassy in your home country knows when you give birth in the US. They are that good with synchronizing the data of all applicants. So, if you don’t want your renewal application rejected, the one thing you should never do while applying for the initial visa is LIE to them that you don’t intend to give birth in the US while you actually intend to. Too many people either due to sheer ignorance or anxiety respond as NO, hoping that it will increase their chances of getting the US visa. The truth is, it somehow does. BUT, having your baby in the US is not ILLEGAL, yes! It isn’t. They just don’t want you resorting to public/government funds.

So, if you tell them No and get the visa, fly to the US and give birth less than nine months after issue date; they will know! Believe it or not. During your renewal application process, expect a call from the embassy inviting you for an interview. After a couple of questions and revelations, what do you think will be the verdict? You guessed right, you’re denied.

Words from such applicants are ‘had I known’; ‘I wish I had met you (USA Childbirth Concierge) before applying’. If you have any experience like this or know someone who has, kindly share the summary in the comment tab below so others can learn.
Also, if you don’t pay your bills, because some smart friend or family member who lives in the US, tells you that you can use the US insurance popularly called the MEDICAID and get free/almost free medical care. You can choose to defraud the government and get them to pay for your healthcare but guess what? You can’t get away with it, except you don’t intend to go back to the US ever again or at least, after 10 years. Getting a US visa after such is almost impossible.

In summary, my friends and expectant moms, if you are pregnant at the time of your visa application and you intend having your baby in the US. First, contact an OB/GYN (we can help you get an affordable Obstetrician and Maternity Hospital), pay them, get a Letter of Acceptance and receipt of payment. Go for the Visa interview, if asked the ultimate question say ‘Yes, I do. I’ve contacted a Doctor and Hospital, made payments to the doctor, here’s my Letter of Acceptance’.

Lastly, if you believe in the Divine; Go with God’s favour!!

Please share this, someone needs it right now.

North Korea only has 28 websites, according to leak of official data

The North Korean leader, Kim Jong-un, looks at a computer along with military personnel
The North Korean leader, Kim Jong-un, looks at a computer while flanked by military personnel.
The internet is awash with news and comment about North Korea, from its nuclear tests to speculation about the health of its leader, Kim Jong-un. But its own contribution to the world wide web is tiny, according to a leak that revealed the country has just 28 registered domains.
The revelation came after one of North Korea’s top-level name servers was incorrectly configured to reveal a list of all the domain names under the domain .kp.
Many of the sites belonged to official bodies such as the committee for cultural relations and the maritime agency, as well as official state news organisations the Pyongyang Broadcasting Service and Rodong Sinmun, the newspaper of the ruling Workers’ party.
Recent Rodong Sinmun headlines include “Kim Jong-un sends birthday spreads to veteran scholars”, and “Narcotic-related crimes increase among South Korean youngsters”.
The leak also revealed the homepage of the state-owned airline, Air Koryo, and sites specialising in North Korean movies and cuisine.
Passengers disembark an Air Koryo flight in Pyongyang in 2014
Several websites, including Gizmodo, carried screen grabs, and a list of the sites, a few of which were still accessible, was posted on Reddit.
An apparent error by one of the regime’s tech administrators briefly gave the world a rare glimpse into the few online sources of information sanctioned by the North Korean regime.
The discovery was made on Tuesday by the security engineer Matt Bryant who posted the data on GitHub.
It said on GitHub that “one of North Korea’s top-level name servers was accidentally configured to allow global [domain name system] transfers. This allows anyone who performs [a zone transfer request] to the country’s ns2.kptc.kp name server to get a copy of the nation’s top-level DNS data.”
Bryant told Motherboard: “Now we have a complete list of domain names for the country and it’s surprisingly, or perhaps unsurprisingly, very small.”
Martyn Williams, who runs the North Korea Tech blog, said the list contained no significant revelations about the country’s online presence, and noted that other, potentially more sensitive material remained off limits to all but a few privileged North Koreans on the country’s own version of the internet.
“It’s important to note this isn’t the domain name system for the internal intranet,” Williams wrote. “That isn’t accessible from the internet in any way.”

Technology: UK Computer Activist Lost Appeal against US Extradition

Lauri Love, the British student accused of hacking into the US missile defense agency, Nasa and the Federal Reserve, has just lost his appeal against extradition to the United States. The judge decided the 31-year-old Love with Asperger syndrome could be cared for by medical facilities in the US prison estate. The judge also pointed out that the activist should answer the “extremely serious charges” in the country where the damage was inflicted. Love’s supporters fear he could face up to 99 years in a US jail if convicted on all counts.

The student, who lives with his parents, was granted permission to appeal against this ruling and given bail pending further legal action. Apparently, he could go as far as to the European court of human rights in Strasbourg, which will take several years.

The judge sends the case to the secretary of state for her decision as to whether or not the student should be extradited. In her turn, the home secretary has until mid-November to consider the case. If she decides to extradite the student, he will have 2 weeks to appeal against the ruling.

Love’s family said they couldn’t criticize the judge, who just acted on a law that is flawed. Love’s attorney also said she was very disappointed by the judge’s ruling and pledged to appeal against the decision at all stages up to the European court of human rights.

The electrical engineering student previously said that a jail term in the United States could cause his health to deteriorate and lead to a mental breakdown or suicide. Love also suffers from severe eczema and depression. His case was regarded as the first substantive test of the “forum bar” introduced by Theresa May during her being home secretary, which allowed courts to block extradition. Her reforms also narrowed any home secretary’s discretion to intervene in such cases.

The National Crime Agency officers raided the activist’s home 3 years ago. At the same time, the agency confirmed that it had never sent a full file of evidence on Love to the Crown Prosecution Service. Love describes himself as a political activist and is alleged to have targeted the US Federal Reserve, US army, US Department of Defense, Nasa, FBI regional computer forensics laboratory, and many other agencies. He is accused of stealing personal data and disseminating it online. Love has denied exaggerating the severity of his medical condition.

Technology: Hackers Targeting CIA Director Showed up in Court

Two hackers accused of breaching the personal email and phone accounts of senior US government officials, including the CIA director and homeland security secretary, appeared in US district court.

According to an affidavit supporting the arrest warrants for the US citizens, the team of hackers broke into the personal accounts of a number of government officials and their spouses partially in a search for evidence of aliens. The team consisted of the US and UK hackers, so the UK law enforcement have aided the investigation.

3 UK teenagers and 2 US men are listed as members of an alleged conspiracy to hack government officials. Minor UK conspirators were not charged in the government’s sealed complaint, though they appear to have done most of the actual work, taking most of the information and conducting the social engineering on Verizon employees. They allegedly suggested “swatting” one of the victims – calling in a report of a violent crime to have a Swat team dispatched.

Twitter direct message logs revealed that the teenagers were looking for evidence of aliens like Gary MacKinnon, a Scottish hacker who breached Nasa computers trying to find evidence of extraterrestrials.

CIA Director was referred to as “Victim 1” in the affidavit, although evidence described in the document align with coverage of the breach last year. His wife also received an email notification from Verizon indicating an update to the couple’s account.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation described in depth how it believed the team had worked together and how they were associated with their various social media, phone and email accounts.

Dimitri Seluk - Yaya Toure football agent brings down fire on Pep Guardiola

Pep Guardiola on Tuesday in a press conference insisted that for Ivory Coast midfielder Yaya Toure to come back to the team, his agent will have to apologize for the things he's said against the team .

Now Yaya's outspoken agent Dimitri Seluk has fired back at the Man City coach saying he'll say what he likes and that Pep feels like a king because he's been winning games.

Seluk also called on the Spaniard to apologise to goalkeeper Joe Hart and former City boss Manuel Pellegrini for his role in their Etihad exits.

He said:
‘If Guardiola wants a war, then he can have one. I felt that Pep was being vindictive to Yaya. He has reacted to what I have said by punishing Yaya again. Pep doesn’t want players with personality. He only wants players who are scared of him and will do what he says.
‘The first thing he did when he arrived at City was to pick a fight with Yaya and Joe Hart, two of the club’s biggest players. They have both been big personalities in the dressing room at City and Guardiola doesn’t like that.
‘What do I need to apologise for? I will apologise to Guardiola if he will apologise to Pellegrini for what he did to him. Colleagues should have respect for each other, especially in England where it is important to act like a gentleman.
‘He also needs to apologise to Joe Hart. It’s not right to come to England and then get rid of a few English players. Guardiola wins a few games and thinks he is king.’

Agricultural Minister Says Price Of Rice May Rise To N40,000 Per Bag

The Minister of State for Agriculture and Rural Development, Senator Heineken Lokpobiri, has indicated that without a commensurable production capacity, the price of rice may rise to N40,000 per bag by December if Nigerians fail to engage in rice farming.

Mr. Lokpobiri said that Nigeria spends about $22 billion a year on importing food, and this number could swell if the price of rice increases. In order to reverse this trend, Nigeria needs to produce goods domestically rather than relying on imports, the senator emphasized.

‎The junior minister, who made this known on Saturday at a town hall meeting with stakeholders in Bayelsa State in Yenagoa, said there was a projection that by 2050, Nigeria's population would be 450 million. Such rapid population growth would exacerbate food insecurity, he said.

“The price of rice was N12,000 some months ago, but it is now about N26,000 and if we don't start producing by December, it could be N40,000,” Mr. Lokpobiri explained.

“Rice matures in three months. So this is a wake up call for Bayelsa people to take the four farms we have seriously. The average land you see in Bayelsa can grow rice, so the colonial masters were not wrong in their assessment when they said the Niger Delta could feed not only Nigeria but also the entire West Africa sub-region.

“Unfortunately, agriculture today is not a priority of the Niger Delta as far as the State governments are concerned because of oil,” he said.

He said the States in the Niger Delta have yet to give priority to agriculture the way the North-West States such as Kebbi, Jigawa, Kano as well as other States like Lagos, Ebonyi, Anambra, prioritize it.

Mr. Lokpobiri used Anambra State as an example of a State taking advantage of its agriculture. He explained that Anambra State’s vegetable exports have placed the State in a better economic situation than other States, despite not having any oil wealth.

The junior minister, who decried the destruction of the region's resources by militants, said agriculture was also one sure way of discouraging militancy.

“The only way we can take our people out of militancy is actually through agriculture, and this is also an opportunity to tell our people that the most important resources to any man is land and water resources.

"By the time you are blowing up pipelines, you are actually damaging the water resources. Today, people say it will take 20 years to clean up Ogoni and we are blowing up our pipelines. We are the people suffering from our own decisions, from our own wrong action. So, the time has come for change. Blowing up pipelines is not a way of drawing attention to constructive engagement,” Mr. Lokpobiri explained.

He said that there is no sector in the Nigerian economy that is as profitable as agriculture, adding that in Kebbi State, under the CBN anchored grower scheme, rice farmers were given a N7.5b loan and within three months, they made N69b and paid back their loans effortlessly.

Mr. Lokpobiri urged Bayelsans to key into agriculture to enable them to benefit from the various incentives from the Ministry of Agriculture.

The President of the Ijaw Youth Council Worldwide, Udengs Eradiri, said agriculture remained the sure way of addressing the security and economic challenges confronting Nigeria.

Mr. Eradiri said for the government to be able to woo people into agriculture, the farmers should be given adequate incentives, insisting that real farmers, not portfolio farmers, should be empowered with processing and storage facilities to give value to their produce.

He said agriculture is a potent tool to solve the Niger Delta crisis if the stakeholders and the government could come together and put proper mechanisms in place.

“Give the fishermen, for instance, the right incentive. We have a big problem in the Niger Delta. Agriculture is the sure way to solve the Niger Delta crisis. It is multidimensional. If the Ministry of Agriculture, with all the stakeholders, put their machinery together properly, we can use it to solve the Niger Delta crisis,” Mr. Eradiri said.

“The government should look at the project and give the financial support necessary so that the agricultural sector will have a lot of fertilizer from the oil and gas. And this will create a lot of jobs and these crises will be minimized.”

One obstacle confronting farmers in Nigeria is access to agricultural capital, according to Jonathan Omu, Chief Executive Officer of Achievers Farms Limited.

He said the promises by banks such as the Bank of the Industry and the Bank of Agriculture were not novel, saying that farmers in Bayelsa State had been receiving such promises without any action.

Mr. Omu added that even when the banks were giving out loans, they usually gave loans that were grossly inadequate, saying it was high time they started taking to court banks that refused to give loans to farmers.
The price of rice could rise to N40,000 per bag by December

Nigeria's Arik Air Announces Resumption Of Flight Operations After Admitting Loss Of Insurance

Arik Air has announced that it has resumed flight operations beginning from Wednesday at 11: 00 am. In a statement, the airline urged the public to disregard reports suggesting that the airline is unable to meet its financial obligations to aviation fuel marketers and a withdrawal of insurance services to Arik Air by its insurers.

“While the current scarcity of aviation fuel (JET A1) has impacted on the operations of airlines in the country, Arik Air is in good standing with its fuel suppliers and have been meeting its obligations to them and to our insurers.

“With the regularization of the required documents relating to the renewal of the insurance, Arik Air will be resuming its normal flying schedule from 1100 hours on Wednesday, September 14, 2016,” the statement said.

The airline said it regrets the inconvenience caused to its customers by the abrupt disruption of its service and reassures customers of expedient rebooking of their flights.

Despite the bluster in its statement, Saharareporters confirmed that Arik Air lost its insurance cover because of its ability to pay its insurers in Europe, the airline is also owing fuel suppliers to its fleet.

Forget about Biafra - President Buhari tells agitators

President Buhari yesterday asked agitators of Biafra to forget the plan. Speaking with some NYSC members, particularly those from the south East, who paid him a visit at his home in Daura, Katsina state yesterday, President Buhari said
“Tell your colleagues who want Biafra to forget about it. As a military commander, I walked from Degem, a border town between the north and the east, to the border between Cameroons and Nigeria.
I walked on my foot for most of the 30 months that we fought the Nigeria-Biafra civil war, in which at least 2 million Nigerians were killed. We were made by our leaders to go and fight Biafra not because of money or oil, because oil was not critical factor then, but because of one Nigeria. So if leaderships at various levels failed, it was not the fault of the rest of Nigerians who have no quarrel with one another. So please tell your colleagues that we must be together to build this country. It is big enough for us and potentially big enough in terms of resources. Those who work hard will earn a respectable living. I have seen this country, I fought for this country and I will continue to work for the unity of this country,’’he said.
